Important Booking Policy:

Please note that any vet appointment not booked by our administration team will not be covered by the rescue. You will be liable for the full cost of the appointment, even if it is held at one of our approved clinics.

Dusty Paws Dog Rescue will only pay for appointments booked by us. Any additional extras—outside of vaccinations and/or desexing—will be at the owner's expense, unless a prior arrangement has been organised between both parties.

Desexing Requirements

In accordance with DACO (Dog and Cat Online) regulations, desexing is due by 6 months of age. If your dog was not desexed prior to adoption, please contact us to arrange this immediately.

We prefer to book these appointments as early as possible—even months in advance—to ensure we secure a spot and avoid the stress of last-minute bookings.

Post-Appointment Records

After your vet appointment, please send us a copy of the veterinary records. This allows us to keep our files up to date and ensures we have a backup copy available should you ever require a replacement.
